Fun With Architecture

 

Homes all have certain things in common – walls, floors, windows – the practical things that make them useful.  Architecture is all about the details that make them not only useful, but also beautiful.

 

One of my favorite examples of an archictectural detail you'll see in our neighborhood is the humble attic vent.  Almost every house has one, but they come in so many shapes and sizes that you might not notice what they have in common.
